Amy has a master's degree in Middle East and Central Asian Security Studies. She spent the past several years teaching English in Azerbaijan and Kurdistan. She has always been eager to work in some capacity in the development sector in the MENA region. The Research Pioneers program caught her eye because it allowed her to build her skills in research, technical writing, and analysis while working alongside talented and knowledgeable individuals who provided insight and guidance throughout the experience. She has enjoyed contributing to numerous projects for various actors, from corporates to NGOs to INGOs to government. She looks forward to enhancing her skills in project planning and development and monitoring and evaluation as part of the team now, as a Research and Evaluation Assistant.
