Supporting Open Government Agenda in Jordan 

Since 2019, Edmaaj is coordinating the work of the Open Government Unit at the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation of Jordan (MoPIC) and support the Jordan Open Government Agenda. This comes through the support of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) to Jordan. The Unit aimed to improve Jordan's Commitment to the Open government partnership initiative (OGP) through the implementation of its OGP national action plan and improve its access and engagement with civil society and other stakeholders in the process. Since 2029, Edmaaj has developed Jordan's OGP Fourth (NAP) (2018 – 2021). The efforts to build the 4th NAP used an advanced consultation approach and managed to engage over 52,000 participants through online and offline activities. Edmaaj team is also currently coordinate and assist the implementing of the 4th NAP commitments that tackle policy level changes related to improving the civic space, enhancing political reform, advancing human rights, open data, and access to information. The overseeing and assistance are offered for 11 governmental agencies and ministries and over 100 CSOs.
